Project Description: New Grain Elevator

Summary of Project:

McC Inc was awarded a Design/Build contract from the owner to construct a new grain elevator in Lake Wilson, MN.  Our scope of work consisted of structural engineering, contstruction drawings, process design, equipment procurement & installation, spouting, equipment supports & platforms, earthwork, foundations & tunnels, slipform and commissioning.  This was the 2nd design/build contract we received from this client.

  1. Receiving System rated at 35,000 bph combined
    1. One Leg rated at 15,000 bph
    2. One Leg rated at 20,000 bph
  2. Reclaim System rated at 10,000 bph
  3. Concrete Slipform Storage
    1. (2) – 195,000 bushel each 52’ dia x 125’ tall
    2. (1) – 59,000 bushel wet bin
    3. (1) – 47,000 bushel wet bin
  4. Dryer System rated at 4,000 bph
  5. Load out System rated at 15,000 bph
    1. (6) – 2,500 Overhead load out bins
